Cukoton Coton de Tulears decided to have a go at the Kennel Club Breeders Competition 2019. 

This competition comprises of breeders of all breeds: Toy, Utility, Hound, Working, Pastoral, Gundog, and Terrier.

There must be 3-4 dogs all bred by the same breeder.  Each dog has their own handler. The dogs should look of similar type and size allowing dogs to be slightly bigger than the bitches.  The team must walk in unison and stand in a show stance. Points are awarded for 1st - 4th place at Championship Shows ONLY.

Teams must acheived at least 50 points to qualify for the Crufts, however there is ONLY 40 places available in the final, so breeders with the most points will be the ones to qualify for the Crufts grand final. 

Cukotons breeders team this year featured: Cukoton Sky's the Limit handled by Miss Alison Walker, Cukoton White Magic Jinx owned and handled by Mr Jim Murdoch and Cukoton Bewitched owned and handled by Mr Stephen Scott,

Team Cukoton have achieved 100 POINTS and are joint 32nd overall in the Breeders Competition leaders table and have qualified for the Crufts final 2020.
