Cukoton Coton de Tulear decided to have a go at the Kennel Club Breeders Competition in 2019 competing in our first Crufts final in 2020. 

Cukoton were the first Coton de Tulear breeders to ever reach the Crufts Agria Breeders Competition Final in 2020. Since then we have been successful every year but we have sadly decided to retire Team Cukoton after the crufts final in 2025 due to other commitments.

Team Cukoton 2025 at the Crufts final will be Ste Scott & Kova (Cukoton Daddy Don't Cry) Karen Golden & Martha (Cukoton Girl On Fire) Kevin Holly & Belle (Cukoton Kinky Boots) Alison Walker & Sky (Cukoton Sky's The Limit ShCmVW). We would like to thank Jennifer Murray and Fergie (Cukoton Shot In The Dark) for helping gain the points all year to get us here as sadly they can't make the final this year.

The competition comprises of breeders of all breeds: Toy, Utility, Hound, Working, Pastoral, Gundog, and Terrier.

There must be 3-4 dogs all bred by the same breeder.  Each dog has their own handler. The dogs should look of similar type and size allowing dogs to be slightly bigger than the bitches.  All structurally similar with same movement. The team must walk in unison and stand in a show stance. Points are awarded for 1st - 4th place at Championship Shows ONLY.

Teams need to acheived at least 50 points to qualify for the Crufts, however there is ONLY 40 places available in the final, so breeders with the most points qualify and are invited to  Crufts the following year for grand final. 

Cukotons breeders team for 2019-2020 featured: Cukoton Sky's the Limit handled by Miss Alison Walker, Cukoton White Magic Jinx owned and handled by Mr Jim Murdoch and Cukoton Bewitched owned and handled by Mr Stephen Scott. Team Cukoton achieved 100 POINTS and were joint 32nd overall in the Breeders Competition leaders table. A tremendous achievement. 

Team Cukoton breeders competition 2021-2022 final standing was 9th on the leader board with 95 points. Our team consisted of Cukoton Skys the Limit ShCM handled by Ste Scott, Cukoton White Magic Jinx for Cotonalba owned and handled by Jim Murdoch, Cukoton Kinky Boots at Valeast owned and handled by Kevin Holley & Cukoton Don't Cry Daddy. At the Crufts final 2022 Team Cukoton were short listed down to the final 8 teams in the main ring.  https://youtu.be/JAgSuo-iE5U

Team Cukoton in the breeders competition 2022-2023 final standing was 19th place with 160 points. Our team consisted of Cukoton Skys the Limit ShCM handled by Alison Walker, Cukoton Kinky Boots at Valeast owned and handled by Kevin Holley & Cukoton Don't Cry Daddy handled by Ste Scott. Although we didnt get short listed the Cukoton Crew looked amaking and had a wonderful day
